Founded in 2005, Punch Press prints and circulates formally and politically radical contemporary poetries. This includes the journal Damn the Caesars.
Functioning precariously without institutional support, Punch Press cannot accept unsolicited submissions. Punch Press aspires to actively discourage the cultures of submission, tiered apprenticeship, supplication and unremunerated labor that academic and poetry institutions rely on.
